Question:
How do we check on a Doctor to see if they were qualified due to affirmative action or their skill?

This question is asked because affirmative action requires that people of colour are moved forward due to affirmative action rather than merit

Every state has a lic board that keeps track of lawsuits and how they were settled. In my state I can go online and check. It is also a good idea to ask around. If it is a specialist ask your primary care doc who he would send his family to or go and see himself. Afrimative action only gets somes foot in the "door" they need to stay by exams clinicals and finally boards.

Doctors are considered qualified because the pass medical school and their boards. They don't get extra points on the exams because of color. Some doctors are going to suck, regardless of skin color. Others will be great. Affirmative action plays no role in qualification.

If you go to a white doctor you are guaranteed affirmative action had nothing to do with him getting qualified

Actually, affirmative action nearly never does that. It generally states that when qualifications are equal or very near equal then minorities are given slight preference.

It's not like they're finding random minorities and handing them degress...

Hey man. I've had so may white doctors that suck or didn't know what they're talking about, that I would advise anyone to keep searching for a new doctor if they don't like the advice that they're getting.

Well, if you have doubts, find a white doctor.
