Some nurses, yes. Others, no.

Some nurses are just horrid, others great. I do know that their career isnt easy but I've seen nurses go off over nothing and give bad patient care.

Other problem is, there are a lot of nursing shortages, not enough beds and the shifts can be brutal.

Its a tough call.

of course! we should be paid more, because we are the frontliners of care in the hospital and we are the bridges of communication for every healthcare professionals involved in the care of our patients. It's really a hard job, harder than doctor's. and before anyone complain on services rendered by a nurse, think of the nurse-patient ratio as well as that very low salary that we are receiving right now, and then i bet you'll know why!

No cause my sister was in the hospital, she had meningitis, and the nurses sucked. She was nausea's and they did nothing. The nurse had put the drip in wrong so my sister had pain
