I get horrible chest pain everytime my sleep is broken middle of the night. if i get woken up for any reason my chest pains happens automatically and really hard to get rid of it, until i fall asleep.
i try not to wake up middle of night, but even the slightest noise wakes me up.

i also get chest pain knowing i cant sleep when i want to sleep. For example at work, when am tired, i cant sleep and thats when the chest pains happens.
sometimes its really bad i feel like crying as i cant seem to do anythiing about it. unless my mind switches off.

Am 23yrs old. I do reg exercise 3x weekly. my diet is normal.
i always get enough sleep. get 8hrs sleep everyday. am not fat or underweight either.

If i go dr's they say nothing is wrong with. and its always a waste of time there

Sounds like anxiety. You need to take sometime out and stop thinking about everything. Take some time to rest and relax and not think of anything.

A good way of stopping anxiety is to take ten deep breaths, with each breath hold for 10 counts and then release and repeat. Do this 10 times, you will find your body will relax. With anxiety you tend to shallow breathe, so taking deep breaths this should help releave the tension.

Sounds like Anxiety Big girl! I suffered from it . Every time I went to bed I got so uptight about it and ended fell asleep because that's what I do when i get nervous or anxious, I get sleepy, but my brain kept working, so I was only ever in the first stages of sleep never deep sleep. I would sleep for 7-8 hours but wake up knackered.

The heart thing was due to the fact that I was waiting for my heart to pound, more I heard it the harder it pounded causing chest pain and an imaginary heart attack, hence the Anxiety kicked in. Valerian is a herbal sedative and I take 4 of these every 2nd night. They're great.

Good luck Big girl,!!

It sounds like acute anxiety attacks which worsen the more you think of them and as you have been having these pains for a while you start to worry before they actually happen. Try some relaxation tapes or learn the technique of progressive muscle relaxation. I'm sure there is info on the net. Otherwise short term only try sleeping pills or valium, to break the pattern. be careful of using these because they are highly addictive.

it sounds like anxiety. Are you really stressed or is something bothering you? The other alternative is reflux which is caused by food. Look both these things up. Good Luck

You have to consult your local doctor to refer you to hospital so they make sure that your heart is working properly, it looks like you would have to a medical examination
