My younger brother he's 19, has an addiction to gaming, an average I'd say between 12-14 hours of fortnite, he has since stopped attending college to pursue his dream of becoming a gamer, he has bad friend choices, I'm glad he doesn't do drugs or anything of that sort, this group he's around, play very late for the past year, to 6AM/7AM in the morning. I have no issue with him doing all this but as long as it isn't past 12 midnight. He's very disruptive, has a bad temperament issue & very physical if he wants to. I'm a year older, I've come to the conclusion that it's best I leave him to whatever he shall persue & best I don't speak to him, it's been 6 months since then, and I have no intention on speaking to him. My only problem is my sleep, I'd wake up on average 2-3 times a week because of him being downstairs and being very loud, everyone else in the house has perfect sleep accept me, like if someone goes to the toilet or goes to drink water I wouldn't wake up, but because he speaks on the mic very loud through double bricked walls, I wake up and sometimes lose my sleep, I've done my all prior since I stopped speaking to him, I blocked his WiFi connection after midnight so he should sleep, what does he do, he uses a LAN cable now, I then put a pin on the smart TV so that only I can put it in and he has to ask, but as long as its not past midnight, what does he do, he got his own monitor, he has no respect of others asleep and I need help, honestly it stresses me.

He's 19. That's an adult. You have done everything you could possibly do. Give up. Be there if he ASKS for help, (but do not pay his bills or give him one red cent). Be consistent. Good luck.
